About the Conference
Across the UK, a growing number of student volunteers are giving their time and effort to make positive changes in their communities – enriching their own lives in the process. Once a year, this movement comes together at the annual Impact Conference to discuss challenges, embrace opportunities and share ideas and skills. At the Impact Conference we will compare best practice, provide sector analysis and offer practical resources aimed at empowering students and staff to build more successful student community projects. The last conference saw representatives from 42 universities join together with the student-led Impact committee to combine their experiences and gain insights into making their volunteering high-impact and effective in their communities. |

About the Impact Network
The Impact Network is an active support base for all those involved with Higher Education student volunteering, led by a committee of student volunteers from across the UK. We offer:
- The annual Impact conference which brings the movement together to discuss challenges and opportunities and to learn skills
- Research and sector analysis, which allows groups to lobby and present the value of student community action
- Resources for supporting students and staff in building successful student community projects
We look forward to working with you to achieve the ultimate goal of enabling more students to do more positive good in their communities.
About Student Hubs
Student Hubs transforms student involvement in social action. We empower students to create social change by engaging with social and environmental issues, now and in the future. A national organisation, we act as a catalyst – providing the network, support, and resources that empower students to contribute more to their communities. Student Hubs founded the Impact Conference in 2010 and we are proud to continue supporting this initiative.
